Nikki Vinayan's Bio:
Nikki Vinayan has worked as a software engineer for more than 9 years. She is currently working on Search for GIPHY Inc. GIPHY is the best way to search, share, discover and create GIFs on the Internet. Before this, she worked on search for Jet.com. She initially started off as a Java developer before working on F#, and now Scala and Python. She works in the intersect of backend services, data engineering and ML engineering.
The work also involves introducing features, new signals to search via natural language processing, computer vision, and user engagement data analysis.
She has a M.Sc in Computer Science from The University of Melbourne and B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Kerala University. Nikki Vinayan is currently working on her professional certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University. She has two out of the three coursework inclusive of AI:Principles and Techniques and Natural Language Processing with Deep Learning.
